Turmeric essential oil has a warm, earthy aromatic scent. It is yellow/orange in colour and extracted from the root of the Turmeric plant. In massage, it is known to be effective in the treatment of inflammation and muscular pain. Diluted it is often used on skin to decrease pore size and reduce wrinkles. It is also packed with vitamins, in particular vitamin C.
We would advise performing a patch test before use as the oil has the potential to stain.
