Niaouli Essential Oil comes from an evergreen tree with a flexible trunk, spongy bark, and pointed leaves with spikes of sessile flowers.

Colour: Typically, colourless, though depending on the lot number, it may take on a pale yellow or slight greenish tinge.

History: Niaouli essential oil did not appear in Europe until the 17th century. Captain Cook gave it the botanical name while on route from Australia, though the French still sometimes refer to it as Gomel.

Essential oils are extracted from various plant parts like flowers, leaves, stems, roots, seeds, bark resin, or fruit rinds. Each plant is harvested to extract a few millilitres of oil. Therefore, these oils are highly concentrated and usually dispensed in drops, or mixed with a base oil for massages. They contain hundreds of therapeutic constituents and are used in personal products, aromatherapy, and for sanitary and healthcare reasons.

Finding the right Essential oil isn’t a challenge, as we stock plenty of different fragrances to choose from.

Directions: Please always perform a patch test before use. Dilute 5 drops of essential oil to 10ml of carrier oil for massage. Add 5-8 drops for the bath. Add 5-7 drops mixed with water in an oil burner or diffuser.
